The traditional wooden beam and slate roof houses are fast disappearing giving way to concrete and steel. However few still survive , thanks to younger generation that understands its heritage value

@TusharSuradkar . The best thing about these houses is sustainablity. Everything is sourced locally. And they remain cool in summers and warm in winters
