This traditional mud stove photograph is my house of father in law. my father in law now days every foods cooking in stove.the Mud stove consists of one or two openings through which fuel wood or cow dung is fed and ash is removed, and two or three potholes, with raised lumps where pots can rest. this stove is cook-stoves are contributing heavily to air pollution levels in Nepalese & Indian village. The traditional chulhas, fired by wood, dung or charcoal, are still popular in our country rural areas. now days city’s restaurant, hotel use mud stove. many customer traditional tasty food use this stove.

I think it’s the soot from the wood that flavors the food that makes it special.
We have a special kind of Jollof Rice, which when made over this fire tastes differently. My father made this kind of traditional stove in our old house
but ours was made with red sand @Khanabadosh1986

I saw this kind of stove a lot growing up @Khanabadosh1986 my mom still has two at our rural home. It is to use with the wood. This looks rather small.
Actually, it should be bigger and the space in front of the stove should be longer to hold the firewood.
