Bengali foods are so traditional & popular in the whole world. Who Doesn’t know this?

Yes, everyone knows that. There are a lot of famous Bengali Foods dishes. In this thread, I want to introduce you all about some common but so yummy Bangladeshi dishes from Dhaka. For these dishes, you do not need to go any five-star restaurants just enter any mid-range or high range restaurant and order then just have it.

  • Rice single plate (30 TK)
  • Bean & Potato Vorta/Bhorta (30×30=60 TK)
  • Beef Kala Vuna curry (150 TK)
  • Salad with a lemon slice (Free)

Total price = 240 TK (2.8 $)

I think this is a package with all popular Bengali dishes. Just you may get some different prices in the different restaurant but taste are always Bengali.

You can test this in any Bangladeshi or Bengali Restaurants in the world you live in.

I love Bengali food, @ShafiulB . Thank you for sharing. I think the bean and potato is my favourite one. It’s magical how much with how little can be done.

@IrrPavlova Its really interesting that you love Bengali foods. Bean & potato are very common vegetable in Bangladesh specially in winter new potatoes and bean are used regularly for various dishes like curry & vorta/bhorta. I am so glad to see your beautiful comment here. Thanks for this…
