I will not write much in this post. The graphical representation says alot more especially for the statisticians on connect. I really found it so interesting and fascinating. Although we are not in a competition yet the contest is very strong(Positively) I will make sure to tag all who are involved in this chart here. Please give your comments and thank you all for your dedication and support.
These are the bulldozers on TRAC campaign. Nevertheless we appreciate all other contributors really and we would love more local-guides to join us on campaign. @mdjhfc you are doing very well too and thank you. We have reached the tag limit here so I’ll kindly request others to please tag other participants as necessary. We have other numerous local guides also contributing their little best.
On looking the speed of the Road Mappers I think till the end of the TRAC campaign all the unmapped roads of the world will be mapped. The graphical representation says it all. Congratulations to all the active members of TRAC 2K23 for the great contribution. @SholaIB you didn’t mentioned yourself today also .
In order to inspire more LGs, kindly publish the data of 20 LGs instead of 10, as even LG Connect did for the Photo contest - they announced the badges for 10 top photos, but at the end, they distributed to the best 20 contributors…

@NareshDarji Agreed. No-one will ever know the extent of any of our mapping contributions in the same way they would with photos or reviews, and there’s nothing we can do to control the pace of approvals anyway. So I, like you, am just mapping like I always have for the benefit of the map and it’s users
@TravellerG That’s a nice idea, it would be good to extend that to others if there isn’t too much work involved. If I can also add a suggestion to that it would be to display the date individuals joined the campaign and take that into account when producing statistics, so that the newest contributors have a chance of featuring in the top rankings

Hello @TravellerG . I think for this we should require more active participants. Actually only this 10 and slightly more participants are active in this campaign. But most of the participants are still on Zero. That’s why.

Well I don’t think we can map all the roads on the maps as the world is very large. Also there are new roads popping up in different parts as development advances. Anyway we are doing our best. Thank you for your contributions as an active member and co-host.

We are all on the same page as you as well. If you remember well from our first post,I often add a disclaimer sorry I didn’t add it on this. I often add that this is no competition it’s a Campbell rather.
Nevertheless there is a rivalry or nice contest noticed between the bars on the graph. Wonder can that be said to be a healthy competition??? . Anyway I’ll make sure to keep the disclaimer on hence.

This is a special graph and specifically for the top 10. Normally we have a chart for all active participants. We can all see our figures. It’s no small work computing the data. Nevertheless we will think about your suggestion and thank you for that. Please don’t hesitate to suggest any other ideas you have on this.

Now @MarcoDavoli is the statistician and we thank him as well. We will do our best to make sure that everyone is well represented. Even if it’s one road added.

Anyway thank you for your helpful contributions always. I believe we are all on the same page regrading adding roads. It’s no fancy work like taking a nice shot or writing a lovely reveiw but it’s very practical. I often add the disclaimer not a competition. Sorry I missed that out on this post. I promise to keep that on.
As regards the data,its no small task updating it. Nevertheless suggestions are welcome. We will think about them. Hopefully everyone will be well representing on the campaign.
No worries @SholaIB , I see you doing your thing all over this forum so don’t worry about “delays” in replies - you are only one man and can only do so much in a day!
I don’t see TRAC as a competition, I’ve been editing Google Maps for 12 years now (and nobody in real life believes me anyway lol) and I see TRAC as a way to encourage others to map and edit roads to improve the experience for everyone.
Because mapping today is a completely solitary experience (you could have a conversation with an edit reviewer in Map Maker) I see this campaign as a great way to engage and support anyone starting out. And I mean it when I say well done to everyone involved in making it happen
