Dear TRACians and Local Guides from all around the world,

As many of you know, the TRAC Campaign 2025 officially ended on May 31.
We are all eagerly awaiting to hear from our captain, @SholaIB , and to discover the amazing results we’ve achieved together!

In the meantime, it’s my honor to award the final unofficial BADGES of this campaign a tradition that adds a touch of celebration and community spirit to our shared mission.

unofficial PROUD BADGE

As you know, the PROUD BADGE is awarded exclusively during the TRAC Campaign. It is a special recognition for those new TRACians who, by taking their first steps into road editing, successfully reach the milestone of 25 Approved Roads.

Today, we proudly celebrate our friend @markauchincloss, who has just earned this achievement!

Let’s give him a big round of applause and welcome him into the PROUD circle a symbol of dedication, growth, and contribution to the mapmaking community.

The next unofficial PROUD BADGE will be awarded during the TRAC Campaign 2026. Until then… keep mapping!

unofficial SAVANT BADGE

These unofficial recognitions continue even outside the campaign period, but are exclusively reserved for those who have participated in and supported at least one TRAC Campaign.

**Today, it’s a great pleasure to celebrate a long-time friend: @TravellerG **

A true pillar of our community; often quiet and behind the scenes, yet always present, always ready to lend a hand. Not only has he supported every TRAC Campaign since our very first one in 2023, but he’s also been a constant source of help for anyone who asked.

And today, we celebrate one of his most remarkable achievements.

sometimes we get dazzled by flashy numbers and big achievements, and we risk losing sight of what truly matters: dedication, presence, and the sense of belonging to a group.

Knowing I can count on you means more to me than any number ever could.

Thank you so much to @MarcoDavoli @SholaIB @TerryPG @Maximilianozalazar @Kumaarsantosh @TravellerG @ShailendraOjha @NandKK & so many others of you because if it wasn’t for your initiative & constant encouragement I would not have achieved it ! Thanks especially for the kind words that are greatly appreciated because it can get lonely being a Local Guide, especially in my case as I live in the countryside with no neighbours nearby.

It took me years to add 9 roads in Spain ! So everyone one of you deserves credit for helping me to understand what to do & about the system and through all the exchange of information and ideas on Connect. While it was a small step forward in my case, I note cumulatively you have made a giant leap forward in improving Maps across the continents. Thanks you so much for the inspiration and constant motivation.
