Hip! Hip!! Hip!!! Hurray. Finally finally we are pulling down the curtain as regards TRAC event for 2023.This has been a very enjoyable adventure and sweet community effort. We have worked together,chatted together,celebrated together and stayed together. 23rd of September 2023 is our official closing date which was well celebrated. One thing we should announce is that we are staying together as a team of local guides. We are together here on connect and even on the telegram group. We aren’t admitting anyone into our TRAC team anymore for now. We might consider opening the line whenever there is a new activity on TRAC again.
We set our target for 50 but we didn’t only reached our target but passed it by 6,362. Hurray and congratulations to all our numerous participants. We also appreciate all our fellow local guides and CMs alike. We wish there were more active local guides in the team. Nevertheless there will be a next time,watch out.
We value all those who have contributed to this campaign and target. Every one road is very valuable and has helped to reach the main objective of this event. We have succeeded in creating a great awareness on adding roads. Please keep up the good work and get the mapping going. There is a lot more roads to drawn
Well this isn’t goodbye really. We have other plans up our sleeves. We are not ready to disclose now but whenever we do,please keep your eyes open and your ears to the ground on connect. We are committed to roads and mapping on general so stay tunned.

The host and co-host @SholaIB and @LovePathak28 respectively have taken this to a great height to popularize Road Mapping amongst the LG community and the result is infront of all of us.
Hearty congratulations to @Lukas_1 and @MarcoDavoli for being there as lead two contributors. I am very much impressed by the statistical data analysis and interpretation done by @MarcoDavoli for the entire program. He did the awesome job very meticulously.

TRAC has achieved its aim of creating a great awareness on drawing roads in the local guides community.
We wish it could stay that away. We will be able to draw lots of raod together even while TRAC is not operating. Thank you for your great contributions too and for your interactions.

Congrats and thanks to you @SholaIB and all the guys who participated in the TRAC campaign. You all did a great job.
To me, as a mapper who drew many parts of the country roads during the Map Maker time, Road Mapping part of our contributions is so valuable because it helps people directly commute better.
While the conditions were so hard these recent years and caused a lack of enthusiasm to edit roads, it changed several months ago and TRAC also helped to pay more attention to this aspect of contributions than in recent years.
I have an eye on Connect to join in the next phases and hope in the near future Google will prepare a simpler way to approve the correct road change edits that will cause more good users to get involved.
