This is announcing that we have about one third (1/3) of our 100k target of roads done !!! Google maps is getting better and navigation easier TRAC members are on Track. Special thanks to my lovely TRAC team. The best group of local guides on the planet. Making a roadway into every continent isn’t a little job. It calls for attention and proper skills etc. At the rate of dedication of our road Hunters,we might make finish up in 3 months.
Am not surprised because we have been waiting and preparing for this biggest season of our campaign. We have had lots of new dedicated members as well.
If you haven’t still joined us, you are missing the fun. Its still not too late to join though. There are local guides reaching their perosnal milestone targets on roads. Feel free to be part of this great team of Roaders on connect and on Google maps.

I’ll endeavour not to tag anyone on this post. I believe those concerned and interested can look it up. Also anyone interested should please comment as usual and as necessary. We are still actively working. This is just a month report. Stay tunned for next months report.
Please Note: This is not a competition it’s a simple campaign. It is aimed at creating awareness on drawing roads.It’s also aimed at improving the maps network worldwide. There are no gift or medals at the end of the campaign.it’s a voluntary activity like all local guides activities.

Thank you @JustJake it is making alot of sense alright. I must say I wasn’t too confirm of that 100k at the start of the season. I am afraid we might finish too early now and we will bored.

Hi @SholaIB it’s very disappointed for me that I am not in your list, i am also a member of TRAC , But I don’t know why you remove me from this list, after joining virtual meet up I started road mapping and till now I mapped 1000km + road . But it is mandatory to show it on connect I don’t know , in India we having famous slogan (Neki kar facebook par dal. ) ,

Sorry to disappoint you and thank you for attending the meet-up. It wasn’t automatic to be part of the meet-up and part of TRAC Nevertheless I’ll like to let you know that road mapper program is very different from TRAC event. TRAC event is adding roads on Google maps and we have a count for it on our profiles. Road mappers is a separate program and we don’t have a count for it on our profiles.
The next thing I’ll like ti clarify with you is did you fill the form to join TRAC? No You didn’t. Please do so if you are still interested in joining. Ite not too late. Everyone had to fill tbe form including myself as the host.
You could continue adding roads on road mappers but it doesn’t count for TRAC event

I note you said you’d deliberately not tag anyone, and I found it just by chance 10 days after the date.
I wasn’t available full time in the second half of April, but now in May I’m back and hope to do more than ever to pump those numbers up.

@SholaIB @MarcoDavoli @Rednewt74 @JustJake I’m drawing roads every day and getting approval emails every day also, but the number of roads in my profile doesn’t often change. There was a small change from 120 to 129 a few minutes ago, but I’ve received a lot more than just 9 Approved Road emails over the last few days. Does anyone understand why this is happening?

I too got an update. Based on my approval emails it seems like they are always 3 or 4 days behind. I have no idea how it works. Frequent would be great, but consistently would be even better.

The frequency is not the main issue, @Rednewt74 . It’s the count that matters.
If I get 50 approval emails, the count should not go up by only 9 when the update occurs.

@tony_b , I agree.
That is what I meant about consistency. I don’t process my emails until I get an update and there is rarely any similarity between the number of emails and the update increase.
