This is the biggest virtual meet-up I have organised so far We were about 40 although some didn’t stay till the end of the meet-up for important reasons. Among the CMs 6 of us were present that’s a huge number.We started in a very good time and of course finished on a good time. Thank you to all our numerous participants for their punctuality,I am super proud of you all.
- Some new change we discovered on this virtual meet-up is very interesting. We discovered that Google meet shuts down after one hour of usage. I think you can reconnect again if you like. Nevertheless it shuts down every one hour. That’s very good,that will help to keep to virtual meet-up short and sweet**(ss).** That will help local guides to make use of the feature very prudently.
Now back to our meet up,we were well ready and organised. We had an agenda and we followed it up.

The welcome note was brief and that was great. We had a very brief word from the top contributor of TRAC as well. I decided to also interview him personally after his speech.
- On average I’ve spent about 2-4 hours adding roads.
- I was averaging 206 roads a day until the end of the challenge.
- My total added roads now - 14780.
- The approval average overall was 63%.
- I’ve added about 23.500 but 14k approved roads so far during the campaign.
- Most roads added in one day - 1098,
- Most approvals in one day - 379
we quickly movre to quiz from Jay a bit of fun and relaxation after adding 50k roads. The questions were so good and interesting. It include all our activities as TRAC team. It also involves questions on roads for local guides.
If you missed the whole meet-up never miss Jay’s quiz. It’s quite fun and hilarious. The photos here says it all. It can be seen on our faces as well. I got the 2nd place anyway it was OK. We would not bother mentioning the one who one the quiz. Lol
After the winner was announced we proceeded to questions from local guides but there wasn’t any. We tried to ask a few people no response. Finally we moved on.
Announcement/Discussion on TRAC during the meet-up
- Although our activities are officially closed up for now we have other ideas and initiatives that may come up. Please watch out for our posts here on connect.
- We are not admitting anymore local guides to join TRAC until we have another event or campaign organised
- We plan to keep adding roads individually but we are together as a team
- TRAC is here to stay therefore it will be an annual event 23rd March -23rd September every year all things being equal.
- Feel free to reachout for assistance on adding roads.
After that we had ErmesT our very active moderator and top local guide sharing alot with us about roads. Fortunately we also saw some roads in Rome while on the meet-up. We also saw other local guides that were with him which was awesome.
JanVanHaver shared more inspirational with us on roads. We took a few more suggestions and contributions from others and it was time to close.
