I’m not an art gallery or museum kind of person. But this photo attracts me to look at it and read its story. It’s very interesting. The masterpiece is so energetic. Thank you for sharing.

Hi (^o^)/

Taro lived in the immediate vicinity of my house. I did not know him as a great artist when I was a child.
I introduce youtube who introduced him to Japan although.

Hello @shigeo ,

Thank you for this descriptive post, as I love museums even when the weather outside is beautiful.

I like this smiley look like a face piece of art, it remind me a bit of the yin and yang, because of the way it is cut into two.

Hi @shigeo ,

I like to visit museums all over the world. I’m really happy to that this piece of art made by Okamoto Taro is still preserved. I can say that the work of this artist is really interesting. His abstract and avant-garde paintings and sculptures, are absolutely amazing.

Did you know that there is a great option to explore museums through Google Art project website? If you are interested, you can check it out.

Hi ! (

Thank you for introducing Google art.
I like art as well, so I will enjoy it slowly.

I am doing sandblasting craft with my hobby. The image is an angel drawn on a tumbler. This is an angel I saw in the church in Europe.
It was easy as a working process, but it tooked a long time to complete.

Hi @shigeo ,

I’m glad you liked it. This angel figure is lovely! Thanks a lot for showing it to me. I really enjoy seeing handmade stuff like this. For me they are really valuable, because you take your time to make them and use your inspiration and skills to draw.

P.S. I like to knit when I have time and I enjoy making postcards. At the moment I don’t have photos to share with you, but when I make something new, I’ll show you the results
