As I mentioned in the title of my post, The Homeland of Jomuna Bridge I have found an opportunity to visit, in mid-December of 2020. Jomuna bridge is mostly known by another name as Bangabandhu Bridge.
My destination was the Shirajgonj main town, my younger brother lives there with his family. Actually, he is the Executive Magistrate (AC Land) of Shirajganj.
Sirajganj is not so far from Dhaka city, only 141 km. It will take 4 hours maximum to reach the Shirajgonj town if you travel from Dhaka.
Ovi Enterprise and SI Enterprise is a common bus service for Shirajganj . Gabtoli, Dhaka station, where you can find the ticket, online ticket service also available. The ticket price from Dhaka to Shirajganj or Shirajganj to Dhaka is 250 BDT.
Mentionable Tourist Place in Shirajgonj:
a) Heart point
b) Elliot Bridge
c)Noboratna Mondir
d)Jomuna Multi-purpose Bridge
e)Jomuna Eco-park
I have got an opportunity to visit some places of them like Heart-point,Jomuna Multipurpose Bridge, Elliot Bridge, and the Economic Zone of Shirajganj.
Here I will share some snap of those places where I had visited-
Photo: Economic Zone of Shirajganj
This is the big area of the open place where visitors come and walk. But Bangladesh Govt selected this place as Economic Zone in 2018, expecting that minimum of 5 lakh people will get an opportunity to work when it will fully prepare.

The Jomuna river is one of the most beautiful and largest rivers in Bangladesh.

The snap has taken from the boat when we visiting the river. For your information, this bridge is the second largest bridge in South Asia. This is a 4.8 km longest bridge.
There are many things to share but I don’t want to make it long. Hope you will feel interested to visit by seeing my post. Thanks in advance to you all for reading my post.
