Torture Cell and Killing Field Memorial: Liberation war for Bangladesh in 1971

This historical site pays tribute to those who lost their lives in the Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971. The Pakistani army and their local allies are killing, torturing, and imprisoning Bengali citizens. Local journalists discovered this killing field and torture cell in 1996, and the Bangladeshi government later protected them as historical sites. After 24 years, Barishal City Corporation decided to preserve history and develop this killing field in 2020 to present the history of the liberation war. It is now a well-liked travel destination. This location allows visitors to pay tribute to the martyr and freedom fighter.
