After your edit on Google maps, it check by a automated system or by local guide or both to ensure your information is correct. As your edit is unaccepted that means google cannot verify your information at that time; so you can try later.
FYI- if the place is a verified businesses listing then google may not accept your edit, only the owners of the business can add or update it.
