Do you mean space on your Google account?
Photos uploaded to Google Maps from Google Photos can be deleted in Google Photos after a couple of days after you have seen them under the places you uploaded them to on Google Maps.
But don’t you want to keep a backup of your photos?

It would be beneficial if you would use the tagging tool when replying to someone here on Connect. Type @ followed by the username. Type slowly. Then we get an e-mail notification and you are more likely to get a prompt reply.
The photos you upload to Google Maps does not take up space in your 15GB free space.
