Google Maps is about PLACES and not so much products.
Your photos of storefronts and entrances will be a lot more helpful to most Maps users. There is not a lot of relevant information in a close up shot of a coffee.
You can look up how many views your photos get on Google Maps and use that as a guide to what kinds of photos your should uploade. The more views the more helpful pics.
