「多目的トイレ」は、車いすの利用者、人工の肛門やぼうこうを着けているオストメイト、子ども連れの人などのためのトイレですが、利用する必要のない人が長時間使って本来の利用者が待たされるなど、利用の集中が課題となっています。このため国は、「多目的」や「多機能」といった誰でも利用できるような名称をやめるよう、建築物のバリアフリーに関するガイドラインを改正しました。
