Кто может подсказать, в чем дело… При обновлении информации об объекте на картах (например, что объект больше не существует) либо добавлении нового объекта, часто эти правки отклоняют. Бывает несколько месяцев пытаюсь добавить что-то, мой запрос отклоняют, но объект так и не появляется.
В чём дело, что я делаю не так?
Probably you are not doing anything wrong, @DonaLuna , simply an edit needs to be verified, for being applied.
Verification can be automated, (quite fast), or by confirmation of other Local Guides, through the “Fact checking”.
Also please keep in mind that ALL the information you added need to be verified, to “apply” your edit. E.g. if you add a phone number, make sure that the number is available on an online directory (Google will not call the business for verifying the number).
What I personally do, when I add a new place, (Add a missing place to the map ) is to add only the required information: Name, Category, Address. When I do this, normally Google Maps ask me to add a photo of the storefront, with the name clearly visible, so I add a photo (only one) immediately.
I add all the other information (opening hours, phone number, website) on a second stage, when the previous edit is applied.

In addition, please keep in mind that, for some specific areas, Google can block user generated content for specific categories, to prevent abuse
