When you wrote “many traditional cultures (especially religious-related activities) have become increasingly difficult to see” my initial reaction was that by all means: In your society and culture traditional cultures are probably way easier to spot and more dominant than in many other cultures. So you should not complain! Your images are way more incredible, mysterious, and amazing (and photogenic) than what you will find around here at least.

@MortenCopenhagen 我認同你的觀點，當然，保留傳統文化在許多層次上確實有幫助（尤其是在心靈層面上），然而一些細微又饒富涵義的事，往往會在發展到某種階段時而必須做出調整或改變。舉例燃放炮竹在一開始是為了避邪（古人認為邪惡的鬼怪或野獸會懼怕火炮）後來加入了熱鬧的元素，之後再衍生出誰準備的炮仗多，那人就越有面子也暗喻越虔誠；然而隨著環保意識提升，許多的煙火已受到相關法規的限制，一些廟宇也開始自主（有些或許順應潮流、或者被迫不得不）減少燃香與炮竹的使用。
另外像這次的COVID-19也影響了台灣重要的大型繞境活動，政府機構也宣導以上網方式進行，這些都是種種考驗，要延續真的不容易呢！
