Μπορώ να τη φανταστώ τη μυρωδιά @Stella2 . Χριστούγεννα χωρίς κουραμπιέδες και μελομακάρονα δεν είναι Χριστούγεννα! Η αλήθεια είναι ότι εγώ έχω μια αδυναμία στα μελομακάρονα. Τα ετοίμασες εσύ; Θα μοιραστείς μαζί μας τη συνταγή;
Wow! Nice cooking @Stella2 . It is really wonderful you love to cook and indeed you’re good at it. It is not a great surprise though because there is an adage that says that people that love what they do are really good at it.
Kudos you make candies and sweets for Christmas in Greece.
Here in Nigeria, we buy industrial produce candies and sweets. It is usually processed and it damages the teeth. I hope those ones you make do not damage teeth? Hahahahaha
The truth @Austinelewex is that I use only black sugar, the quantity is less than the receipt, and butter fresh. I am trying to make healthier sweets. And of course I don’t buy sweets from supermarkets
Nowadays, few people still cook sweets and cakes at home. @Austinelewex
I consume cakes and sweets both from the market and from small specialized producers.
My mother still only does in the days of the traditional Easter and Christmas holidays sweets and cakes, cozonac
I buy them cakes from confectioners and I always bring them something good during the rest of the year
This is good to hear Paul. It is called family bond. Most people nowadays lack family bond @To_paul . My parents still look at me as a kid but that is by the way now… hahahahah.
During Christmas I support my parents as much as I can.
@Austinelewex I know many who migrated through Europe, some did not even come to bury their parents when they died, others do not come for years to see what is still at home, sad but very true, I think it happens everywhere.
Many parents have migrated and left children in the care of their grandparents, children also suffer from lack of parents and material shortages. The church and a part of society are involved and offer them supplies, books, backpacks, clothes, appliances, but it is seen that those children are sad, there have been cases in the past when some have committed suicide.
@Stella2 Can I have a bite? :)) Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
@Austinelewex I’m not a big fan of sweets but I eat them sometimes. It is nice we have @Stella2 with us, so she can make some for us whenever we want. Hahaha.
Yes it is true that this life is with a very fast pace. But that is not enough reason for family disintegration.
Many people who abandoned their families and children has no reason to justify their actions. They have already predetermined in time they are going to do it. So so bad that this is becoming rampant.
