We share tips, information and news with the forum for Google Maps users to benefit.
The Connect community is full of supporting local guides and helpful posts that can help you get the answers you are looking for. However, we know that sometimes you will need a person from Google to answer a problem you encounter.
The meeting will be in one of the hotel halls in Jeddah, and we will have dinner at my own expense

Thanks for sharing your meet up plans. If you would like to host or plan a Meet-up, I recommend reading How to plan a successful meet-up which gives you helpful ideas on the types of activities you can plan and some guidance and tips for helping you organise a successful event for yourself and the Local Guides in your area.
Of course there are no guarantees that the LG community has a large contingent in your area but don’t be discouraged. What are your tips for first-time meet-up hosts? has a ton of advice for people like yourself that are interested in planning a Meet-up.

First, there will be a meeting for guides in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and as you know, my country has a large geographical area
I reside in the western region, specifying the city of Jeddah, and my region includes more than 200 cities and governorates
I will host all the guides in my country from all cities. Everyone who has a desire to join the forum will have an introductory meeting, and the guides ’opinions will be discussed and taken.
Unfortunately, I noticed some guides publishing comments and contents of some commercial activities as a matter of publicity and marketing for these activities as they are evaluated, polished and praised, and they do not provide the service that is being promoted, so they are deceived by tourists and researchers looking for places.
I have an idea and organization to advance in contributions and discover new places. Everyone who has the right will be evaluated. I want to present content that is appropriate in my country and provide content that we are proud of, to facilitate the user of Google Maps. Quick access and selection of good places and knows the level of each activity and the quality of its services.
Finally we will have dinner as I invite you to attend this meeting and all Google officials for being the first meeting for the guides and it will be a beautiful occasion
