লেইক, প্রকৃতিগত ভাবেই হউক আর কৃতৃিমভাবেই তৈরী হউক, এর সৌন্দর্য মানুষকে আকৃষ্ট করে। লেইকের ধারে বসে বিশ্রাম নেওয়া, লেইকের পানিতে সাঁতার কাটা, লেইকের ওপারে আকাশ মিলিয়ে যাওয়া, লেইকে নৌকা ভ্রমন, ইত্যাদি আরও অনেক বিনোদনের কেন্দ্র এই লেইক। এ এক অপরুপ সৌন্দর্য। তবে জাতীয় স্মৃতি সৌধ চত্তরে এই লেইক গুলিতে নৌকা ভ্রমন বা সাঁতার কাটার কোন ব্যবস্হা নাই।
তবে লেইকের পাশ দিয়ে আছে সারি সারি গাছ, যার ছায়ায় বসে বিশ্রাম নেওয়া যায় আর প্রাকৃতিক সৌন্দর্য অবলোকন করা যায়। এই সারি সারি গাছের মাঝে মাঝে আছে পাকা রাস্তা। সেই রাস্তায় হেঁটে হেটে পুরো স্মৃতি সৌধ চত্তর ঘুরে দেখা যায়।
মূল স্মৃতি সৌধের সামনে এই কৃত্রিম লেইকটি তৈরী করা হয়েছে, যার সামনে জাতীয় পতাকা উড়ছে। এই লেইকটির কারনে স্মৃতি সৌধের সৌন্দর্য আরও বৃদ্ধি পেয়েছে।

@Petra_M , thank you very much for your interest about the place. Yes, this place is very calm and also it within 02 km of my home. A very nice place to go around with friends and family at the week end.buy picnic inside the area is restricted.
