ফুল প্রকৃতির শ্রেষ্ঠ উপহার। তেমনি ঋতুরাজ বসন্তের অন্যতম একটি উপহার হচ্ছে শিমুল ফুল। বর্তমানে বাংলাদেশের প্রত্যেকটি গ্রামে গঞ্জে রাস্তার পাশে অসংখ্য শিমুল গাছ দেখা যায় যেখানে রয়েছে অসংখ্য গাছে গাছে শিমুল ফুল।
ফুল দেখলে সবার মন অব্যক্ত এক ভালো লাগায় ভরে যায়। ফুল পছন্দ করে না এমন একটি মানুষ ও বোধহয় পৃথিবীতে খুঁজে পাওয়া দুষ্কর ব্যাপার। দৃষ্টিনন্দন ফুলের মধ্যে শিমুলের আবেদন সৌন্দর্য প্রেমীদের কাছে খুবই জনপ্রিয়। আমার অত্যন্ত প্রিয় একটি ফুল, আমার মত গুগোল প্রেমীদের উদ্দেশ্যে ছবিটি উৎসর্গ করলাম।

@MoniDi Thanks for your interest about this flower. We played with this flower in our childhood who are from village. Everyone in our country is knows this flower. This flower is also known as Cotton tree flower locally. Shimul (শিমুল)is locally known as a special species of cotton plant which is give us the best kind of cottons. In English it is known as Bombax ceiba.
