මැදවල ටැම් පිට විහාරය මැදවල නගරයේ පිහිටා ඇති අතර වළගම්බා රජු විසින් ඉදිකරන ලද රජමහා විහාරයක් වශයෙන් පිලිගනී. අනුරාධපුර යුගයේ පටන් අද දක්වා ම පවතින මෙම විහාරය, ටැම් පිට විහාරයකින් සමන්විත ය. එය මහනුවර යුගයේ ඉදිකරන ලද බව අනුමාන කල හැකිය. විහාර ගෙය තුළ දක්නට ලැබෙන සිතුවම් ඒ සදහා හොඳ නිදසුනකි… සංචාරකයන් අතර තවම වැඩි අවධානයකට ලක් ව නැති මෙම විහාරය ලංකාවට පැමිණෙන ඕනෑ ම අයෙකු මහනුවර නගරයට පැමිණෙන්නේ නම් නැරඹීය යුතු ම විහාරයක් වශයෙන් හදුවාදිය හැකිය.
