I’m sorry for your bad experience. You might be interested to go through to go through the Add a missing place to the map process to give the region a name on Google Maps. Once the change is approved you might be interested to check around in the Google Maps & Earth Help Forum to fix the photo issue. Keep in mind edits take time to get approved and acknowledged.
