College Station is a small town that occupies less than 50 square miles of area. But it has more than 50 well developed parks. According to me a good park is one which has designated parking area, well laid pathways, facilities for drinking water, rest rooms, privately placed spots for family dining and a water body with beautiful fountains. Of course not all the parks in College Station meet these requirements.
Central Park, John Crompton Park and Wolf Pen Creek are the top three parks that meet all my requirements of a good park and visit them often. But the luxury of living in College Station is that we have choices to visit multiple parks by walk from home. Why would we need Parking Lot and Rest Room if we are walking to the park from home.
Parks bring everyone closer to nature. Visit College Station.
