As Iāve mentioned before to many others, and only recently here, the problem always comes back to updating your data and this is precisely why I have so many times mentioned the importance of updating each month and to try to do this on or about the same day of the month.
Notwithstanding, to be included in this yearly movers & shakers set of leaderboards you must have updated your data in both December 2022 and December 2023 and I hope Iāve made it clear in the readme. Note also that nothing is mentioned in the readme about the months in between, and there is no need to as these are annual and not monthly based leaderboards. This rule is important so that we can compare apples with apples. You will note that this rule is different to that related to and explained in the readme for the monthly based movers & shakers leaderboards.
As I previously mentioned Lukas the 2023 Movers & Shakers was a rush post so do let me know if I have made a mistake in your case.

@AdamGT First of all, Iāve made a small edit to the paragraph you referred to, so that the information is presented in a common denominator. The point Iām making is that the last reported total for my Star Photo is 2,137,205 views, accumulated over what appears to be 1,773 days, and thatās where the Star Photo Views History chart is getting itās average of 1,205 views per day. But we now know based on your newly published information for the recent 365 day period, that the current truth is only 9 views per day. I donāt find the 1,205 views per day to be a useful statistic, especially as it relates to a Red Star. Without an easy way of checking, we can almost assume that the first two years yielded 2 million views and then the remaining time was slow insignificant growth towards the present total. Therefore 2,000 to 3,000 views per day for a while, trending down through 500 or 300 views per day, and now only 9 views per day. (I may be wrong, but just imagine making future projections based on 1,205 views per day, as compared to making those same projections based on 9 views per day).

OK now Iām following you @tony_b and I agree with the point you are making and you may recall that I have said before, see for example here, that one needs to be careful when using averages.
In the case of the Star Photo History, it is reporting the average views per day over the life of the star. I would think that in most cases as time goes on, this average would increase to a maximum value and then start to decline down to some residual value. Now with so many variables and stars of different Local Guides having different longevity, itās difficult to make comparisons between the stars on that basis!
This is where the two different movers and shakers leaderboards come in because they peg the comparative time period to either the current month or current year. In other words, weāre comparing our stars over the same period, a specific section of the starās longevity. What has your star views been over the last month or the last year? For this to work we need to have the same base time frame and this consistent with what I have said to others for example in response @Kumaarsantosh in the discussion here, @efcxp here and @Lukas_1 earlier in this thread here.

@tony_b I omitted to mention that while the Star Photo Views Historytable and chart give you the progressive lifetime average views of your star photo, as a Level 10 you also have the Delta Star Photo Views History, that is a detailed table and chart of the progressive monthly average views per day of your star and of course this is what the comparatives in the monthly movers & shakers is all about. Gotta love that T100 System

Hello everyone,
Because a number of Local Guides had asked why they were not included in one or more of the 2023 movers & shakers leaderboards, I decided to do a deep check. With my tail between my legs I have to say that from this deep check I discovered that in the first set of 2023 movers & shakers leaderboards that I included in this post, I had in fact based the calculations on 13 instead of 12 months. I have now corrected this and reposted the 2023 leaderboards but for your reference, kept the originals as shown immediately above this comment. The consequence of this is that:
- All of the metric values shown on the original leaderboards will have been reduced,
- Some Local Guides may have changed their position on one or more of the boards,
- Sadly some Local Guides may have disappeared off one or more of the boards, and
- Some new Local Guides may appear in some or all of the boards. For example, I originally didnāt qualify for the 2023 Points Movers & Shakers Leaderboard but Iām now making an appearance on that board. Yay, lucky me!!!
The leaderboards work best when all the data is correct so once again I say, check everything.

All checked @AdamGT . Iām still on board, but I certainly experienced a big slide in positions - down 21, down 23, and down 8 respectively.
Thanks for putting in the hard work to make it correct. There is no sense in any of us having delusions of greatness based on wrong numbers.

Being caught by Step #2 is far better than being a victim of Step #3 @tony_b and bearing in mind that these are open field leaderboards, that is no consideration is given to country location, well done you on being one of the 2023 movers & shakers!!!

@DshottDennis I canāt find the reference youāre quoting, but hereās my take on it. Level 10 is 100,000 points in an LGs lifetime contributions. Some LGs earned over 100,000 extra Delta points in just one year as shown on these new charts. Congrats to @abermans and @Ruslan_Asgarov on the updated board, and special mention of @MortenCopenhagen of the earlier edition of the list before the amendments. Iām still a long way off from my first 50,000 points.

Thanks for the annual summary post and definitely no ātail between my legsāā¦ you took ownership of our data on your spare time, so if you declare 2023 to have 13 monthsā¦ itās a niggle can live with
Iām surprised to find my name top of the points M&S rank in 2023 - guess itās due to volume of photos and videos uploads last year.
As as views - again, honored to top the M&S list - I believe with new joiners to the T100, it may not be the case next year.
@tony_b you are correct, 100k points in a year is indeed level 10 all over. Never thought about it that wayā¦ impressive achievement on its own.
The list of course excludes @TorM (generated about 1.4b views in 2023 according to my tracks) and the one and only @Herve_Andrieu (ahem, letās round it to 4b views in 2023) and keep moving and shaking maps contributions.
So we all still have room for growth 
Keep it up team. Make maps better!
