Thank you for your recommendation @WilfriedB!!! I didn’t know about the existence of such an app.
This is one possible result for planning the best time. My own photo overlaid with path and times for moon and sun:
Here, you can find a short tutorial about blue and golden hour.
Cool assistant!!! Thank you @WilfriedB !!! It’s going to take me some time to figure this out.
Hi @Laurent , you can check out this post by Connect Moderator @MortenCopenhagen, It has some useful tips about editing roads, and you might find it helpful.
Awesome photo @katydarhel. Congratulations!! First time I’m hearing about the Blue Hour @WilfriedB. I read about the Golden Hour in the Storefront series here How to predict the best lighting conditions by @MortenCopenhagen.
Oh @tony_b !!! It’s the best time of the day. The blue hour can transform any place on earth into a fabulous space. The blue hour is able to decorate any picture as if filters had been applied to it. My blue hour starts half an hour before sunset and ends half an hour after sunset. @WilfriedB, what are your limits of the blue hour?
No @AdamGT and @Laurent, I always have to go to my computer to see the numbers associated with these Country Leaderboards. I can scroll up and down the names of the Countries and the LGs on my phone, but I can’t scroll across to the next column with points or views. It works if I rotate my phone horizontally, but then that’s a horrible experience with only about two lines visible at a time.
Congratulations On the featured photo @katydarhel you never cease to amaze, besides being our in house detective. Now you are a renown photographer, congrats.
Thank you so much for your kind words, my dear friend @TerryPG !!!
I hear you @tony_b but it’s not easy and some of this has been discussed off Connect with possible alternative ways of doing this. I could for example take some of the individual boards off Connect and move them onto the Leaderboard System itself. The advantage of this is that I would then not be constrained by the limitations of the Connect platform. For example, I could include full scrolling on larger leaderboards and have the ability to use colors to highlight different sections of any one leaderboard.
@tony_b @Laurent unfortunately we just have to work with the limitations when viewing large tables with lots of detailed data on small handheld devices.
Hello @tony_b many people use those interchangeable and it always means a time between daylight and dark night, where the strength of artificial and natural lights are in a balance und you can see both without over- or underexposure.
The golden hour appears a bit earlier and shoes more yellow and orange colors, which turn more to blue, the closer it gets to the completely dark night. If I remember correctly, you have less chances to experience it, because the closer you are to the equator the shorter this period becomes.
The half hour is certainly a good rule of thumb, @katydarhel and my screenshot confirms it for the mediterranen zone, but it depends on the latitude and might be much shorter in the Caribbean, for example.
Sorry @AdamGT for moving a bit off topic
Hi Mr @tony_b
I’ve got you. Actually it happens to me too and I thought it’s my network instability
.. if it’s general I think Mr @AdamGT could Read us and whether it’s something ( an idea)to share regarding that.
Thanks!

Thanks very much @WilfriedB. That’s a new lesson learned.
As far as I remember the blue hour is also mentioned in my golden hour tutorial. Best wishes from Tallinn in Estonia.
Thanks @MortenCopenhagen. I had another look at it. There’s always more to learn.
Regarding the roads metric and in particular the error related to the the listings for @MarcoDavoli on the country leaderboards, I mentioned in my comment here that when this happened last month I thought I’d made a simple manual mistake and so simply edited the boards as posted on Connect without checking the backend data that I was using. When Prasad and Anthony raised it again, I had to dig deeper. I’ve now found the error and have accordingly updated both the Global Points, Views & Contribution Leaders and the Country Contributions Summary P2 leaderboards clearly show that Marco is King of the roads. I should have realized the problem when the number of roads shown for Marco was 65,535 which is (2^16)-1
Thank you @AdamGT for fixing the issue and sharing the details with us.
I appreciate your math skills are on point
It’s very interesting how the votes are even!
