Thanks @AdamGT This is a great share and I love seeing the pictures and seeing the recognition for the Local Guides! It’s a good feeling to see the impact our photos get.
I’m not sure who your message is for as you haven’t tagged anyone so let me explain. As you are new to Connect you may not be aware about tagging. When you leave a message or reply to someone you should tag them so that they will get a notification of your message otherwise they may not ever know about or see your message. To do this, first type @ then type the first few characters of their name until you see their name in the dropdown list. Finally, select the person’s name. You will see that I tagged you at the start of this message to you. Many think that this is done automatically when you reply to someone but it is not.
Also, being new to Connect, in case you haven’t already done so, to help you quickly get your feet on the ground here and to make your experience even better, I recommend that you check out Your guide to Connect. Also, should you need any help you can always refer to our Help Desk. Other great articles to read include How do I write a post on Connect and How do I follow the original content guidelines on Connect. Finally, I recommend that you take a moment to introduce yourself and get to know other Local Guides in the Community via the our monthly Introduce Yourself post.
Hello @WaqasMalik and welcome to the leaderboards!
I can see you are keen so I suggest that you read the opening post again and follow the instructions carefully and perhaps your name may soon appear lol.
@tony_b I like to think of this leaderboard along the same lines as the Average Views per Photo leaderboard. Even though we are talking about our most viewed and not necessarily our best photo, the Average Views per Day leaderboard does give us a measure of how good our star photo is compared to those of others. One can expect that photos taken long before others would have more views so the Average Views per Day measure creates a bit of a level playing field for comparison purposes, and more.
Think of this like a long distance foot race. You have runners that started much earlier than you and obviously ahead of you (more views), however you are running faster (higher average views per day)!! In my own case I have photos with a much higher average views per day value than my current star so I can almost predict the day that one or the other will become my new star!
