This post is where you can share your Google Maps points achievements with fellow Local Guides and no, you don’t have to be a “top gun” Level 10 Local Guide with millions of points to participate! There are leaderboards for each Local Guide level so Local Guides at any level can join in and yes, you can too and it’s simple to do:

Benefits
Many share their points achievements in individual posts here on Connect’s Achievements board, a board specifically set up for this kind of sharing. However, as many Local Guides have seen, there are advantages to participating in and sharing your Maps contribution achievements in the Top 100 Local Guides Points Leaderboards post. The leaderboards are more than just about rankings!
For example, it provides much better and easier comparative analysis of your points achievements with your peers, that is, Local Guides at your specific Local Guide level. As you can see in Your LG contributions as never seen before, an aptly named post by @Ses_ame , and both theLocal Guide Points and Local Guide Contribution Points Distribution posts by @Ramamoorthy123 ,you can optionally gain a way to better monitor and chart your contribution progress, as well as gain a deeper analysis of your points achievement.
I agree @turbotapeworm , it’s always interesting to see the lay of the land when the latest leaderboards are eventually posted and just as interesting, if not more so, to see one’s own progress through the leaderboards and available charts. It’s well worthwhile diving into @Kinjalchhaya .
Thank you for your update @user_not_found . Make sure that you hit this link and update your data before the end of each month.
I’m sorry that you are having this problem. For security reasons please edit your comment and delete the image as it contains personal information and I will contact you privately.
Thank you for acting as quickly as you did to remove the image. OK I just had a quick look at your data input. Could you please try again and let me know how you go.
Also, in hast to investigate and sort out your issue, I omitted to welcome you to Connect. As you are new to the Community, in case you haven’t already done so, to make your experience here better, I recommend that you check out Your guide to Connect. Also, should you need any help you can always refer to our Help Desk. I also recommend that you take a moment to introduce yourself and get to know other Local Guides in the Community via our monthly Introduce Yourself post. That’s actually the August post so you might like to wait a day or so for the September Introduce Yourself post.
Finally, when you leave a message or reply to someone it’s a good idea that you properly tag them so that they will get a notification of your message otherwise they may not ever know about or see your message. To do this, first type @ then type the first few characters of their name until you see their name in the dropdown list. Finally, select the person’s name. You will see that I tagged you at the start of this message to you. Many think that this is done automatically when you reply to someone but it is not.
Thank you @Mo_TravelleerX . I try hard to make the leaderboard posts interesting and engaging. I also love seeing how different our charts are. They clearly show the differences in our guiding, what we each focus or specialize on, and give insights into the different locations that we each guide in.
Thanks for the updates, @AdamGT .Ive definitely been more motivated since you introduced the new charts, these are great. I see @GigiR get point by leaps and bounds. Moving to level 9 in no time!
Thank you for your comment @JustJake and yes @GigiR has made a recent comeback, clearly visible from his chart, flat in the period 6 June to 8 August then a nice increase to 5 September.
By the way, the flat tail shown on all charts to 1 October simply indicates that we don’t as yet know the future data but I’m working on introducing a statistical forecast to show a predicted and more likely 30 day end point based on each Local Guide’s historical data
