Thanks for the update and at least we now know where we stand. Yes, because of the volume of data in the Leaderboards, the table feature directly within the composer is just impractical to use. Perhaps Discourse will see merit in the suggested feature improvement. In the meantime, I’ll keep trying other innovations.

Hello everyone,
It seems that even after this major refactoring of the Movers & Shakers leaderboards, some users (e.g. @tony_b @TerryPG @doni_hariadi) are still having problems with some if not all of the leaderboards. I’ve tried a couple of things behind the scenes so you could please re-check all of the boards in this post and let me know specifically which boards (just their numbers) are still a problem to you on mobile.
Given the limitations of the Discourse platform that Connect runs on, let’s see if we can together find a way to make this work.

@AdamGT In my view rather than putting in some much of your time and effort behind this, the present version is excellent. In case one is really interested to deep dive laptop is there. Or else one can see landscape by rotating mobile. Or better still cast it on TV

I hear you @curatorofmemory and appreciate your concern. I think we might be close to a possible solution so let’s wait to see what a few of the others come back with. In the meantime I’m well on the way to rolling out the first of the August Leaderboards.
I’ll give this some thought @curatorofmemory and am interested to hear what others think so your call out will be telling. However, being buried deep here in one of the specific Leaderboard streams that is not directly relevant to your idea might not draw out a wide enough response. Why don’t you consider floating it in a separate post with a poll

I’m sorry about your situation, @tony_b! I’m curious, is it an Android device? Does adjusting the text size help at all?
It seems the problem is more than just mobile compatibility. Looking at this mobile version via my laptop, some numbers are still clipped, although not as bad as on the phone.
The affected leaderboards on mobile are #903, 904, 905, 906 is really bad, 907, 908, and 910 is the worst.

I agree @curatorofmemory however, according to your profile, you joined Connect in 2025, correct? You might not be aware that Google changed the way they are counting and publishing views on February 7, 2024. As a result all media see a lower daily increase of views since date and the changes are published much later than before. For that reason photo posted later, are never able to reach the high numbers as the older photos. On the other hand, most of the older never never see any increase anymore.

Thanks @tony_b for that very specific feedback. It looks like in your case at least, it’s most if not all the boards but what now really puzzles me is that you don’t have, well I don’t believe you have ever mentioned having this issue on the other Leaderboard series, especially the star boards which have wide tables!
The older photos do see an increase @WilfriedB @curatorofmemory, but it is based on a formula. My Star Photo displayed an increase in April this year, for the first time since the February 2024 changes. The new number displayed is exactly 1% higher than it was before. Now it isn’t going to change again until the counts accruing behind the scenes total another 1% of the current figure.

@AdamGT leaderboard 904 is now fine for me but 906 still cutting edge off as per my screenshot.
Ps. I very rarely check leaderboards on mobile, primarily use desktop.

Yes, I did raise this briefly before, but the discussion never got as much traction as it is getting now. But remember, I spend a lot more time on my computer than on my phone. So typically, if I’m on my phone when the Leaderboards come through, I take a quick look, then revert to my laptop to see the full picture later for the missing info.

Well everyone, it’s time to act on @curatorofmemory’s advice and time for me to move on. But before doing so, I’ve just made one last ditch effort to improve things. A few changes here and there that I hope will give everyone a much better user experience. I’m keen on your feedback and appreciate if you’d be specific with board numbers - @tony_b @TerryPG @doni_hariadi any one else?

Yes, you could move on and post the August Leaderboards quickly. Then we could say what our new experience is this time around.
