Canada is one of the most multicultural countries I know! And Mississauga, at the heart of it, has a huge number of visible minorities inhabiting it. I, myself, am part of one of the millions of food lovers in this wonderful city.
However, I can only have certain kinds of foods - i.e. halal foods. You would think this would drastically reduce my options for eating out. – Not in my city!
Here, we have a huge population of halal-food eaters, I would like to share with you my list of the top tastiest halal food places in the Mississauga! Halal food is becoming more and more popular and franchisees are also starting to include halal meats on their menu. Unfortunately, a lot of halal food lovers don’t know about it. So, I’d like to bring to light some seriously delicious food you may be missing out on.
But first, why Mississauga?
No, it’s not because I live here. When I travel outside of Mississauga and try halal foods there, in my honest opinion, no one comes close to making it as tasteful as restaurants in the Mississauga. But why do you think this happens? Well, I hypothesize that since Mississauga has the largest competition between halal restaurants, they really pay extra attention to upping their taste, quantity, service, and advertising. All this makes me a very happy foodie 
Without further ado, here is my list!
10. Wild Wings
Wild Wings serves halal wings! I was really surprised when I found out they have halal meat. And some of the tastiest at that!
9. Galiot’s
They specialize in Portuguese style chicken. Their Peri Peri sauce is worth trying. You’ll be left licking off your fingers!
8. South Street Burgers
This is a really popular burger chain all over Canada. Recently, they’ve started serving halal beef burgers in Mississauga since there is such a demand for it here. It’s a win-win for both of us! 
7. Top Gun
If you want to take your burger game to the next level, I’d recommend this restaurant. This is a gourmet burger spot, which specializes in non-hormone burgers. They have a few locations all around Mississauga. They’re really becoming popular here lately.
6. Karahi Boys
These guys specialize in fresh karahi made to order. Their chef originates from Pakistan and brings all the authentic tastes of back home to Canada.
5. Masrawy Kitchen
This is an authentic Egyptian place that serves food which are specialized from different parts of Egypt. The ambiance is delightful, great for dates, and they have a really nice party room. The food, of course, is very delicious!
4. Mickey’s Pizza
Some of the best pizza I’ve had! They specialize in Chicago-style pizza. Fluffy bread, and great for ordering in.
Now for my TOP 3 halal restaurant recommendations.
3. Roman Zaman
This is a Syrian restaurant. Syrians really love one fruit above all – and that is the pomegranate. They serve a delicious pomegranate sauce on the side. You can also see in all of their decor their true love for pomegranates. Their food is already so delicious to begin with. Add in the pomegranate sauce and it becomes all the more tastier.
2. Gladiators____
My favourite burger joint in the whole of Mississauga! So flavourful, so filling, so tempting. I’ve definitely gone there enough times to try many of their burgers and each of them leaves me satisfied.
1. Istanbul Kebab House
This image is my MOST VIEWED photo on Google’s Local Guides with more than 100K+ views and I’m quite proud of it.
This is THE best place to eat out in all of Mississauga, in my opinion. Their pides are to die for, so is their BBQ kabob platter. But make sure you arrive an hour in advance because they’re always packed, and for all the right reasons too.
