Tombole Traditional Snack From Wakatobi

Tombole is a traditional snack from Wakatobi Islands. It made from cassava, coconut, peanuts, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and shallots. The way to cook it is by burning it using a hot stone that has been previously burned using coals of fire.

Tombole is placed on a hot stone. Then stacked again with stones. On top of that are placed banana leaves and a pile of sand so that heat is trapped in it so that the tombole ripens perfectly.

Hey @eviselvia ,

Thanks for sharing this nice video about how to prepare a Tombole. Iā€™m sure that the taste of it is amazing. Food prepared on fire is always delicious.

It would be great if you share more types of traditional food which can be tasted in your region.
