Tombole is a traditional snack from Wakatobi Islands. It made from cassava, coconut, peanuts, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and shallots. The way to cook it is by burning it using a hot stone that has been previously burned using coals of fire.
Tombole is placed on a hot stone. Then stacked again with stones. On top of that are placed banana leaves and a pile of sand so that heat is trapped in it so that the tombole ripens perfectly.
