The opening ceremony of the Tokyo 2020 Games will be held this evening.
Although it is still a controversial issue in Japan, I would like to at least give my full cheer to the athletes who come to Japan.
Here are some recent images of the Tokyo 2020 Games that I saw while walking around the city.
In Kita city, Tokyo, judo and fencing athletes from Hungary are holding a pre-camp 
The other day, a tour of the judo athletes’ pre-camp was held.
Due to “the bubble system”, we were not able to see the camp directly, but we were able to watch it on a monitor.
The Olympians seemed really strong. It reminded me of the Japanese word ”風林火山”(as fast as the wind, as quiet as the forest, as daring as fire, and immovable as the mountain).
I couldn’t help but think, "What do they do to get this kind of buff?“.(Judo!)
At the Hakuhinkan Toy Park in Chuo City, Tokyo, you can find some kinds of official Tokyo 2020 goods.
These are Barbie and Rika-chan dolls wearing uniforms and yukata.
This may be off-topic, but Hakuhinkan Toy Park is a very fun place to visit and I highly recommend it.
Saitama Super Arena in Saitama Prefecture is a basketball venue.
At Saitama ShinToshin Station, the closest station to the arena, there was an amazing display of ukiyo-e and flags from various countries.
When I passed by this week, I saw a few people who looked like players from afar. They looked so strong.
When I see this kind of scenery in the city, it makes my festive spirit buzz.

本日夜、東京2020大会の開会式が行われます。国内では開催への賛否両論が激しく分かれ、まだ議論を要する問題にはなっていますが、少なくとも、日本へやってきた選手を全力で応援したいと思っています。
以下、最近私が街を歩いて見かけた、東京2020大会の様子です。
東京都北区では、ハンガリーの柔道、フェンシング選手が事前キャンプを行っています。先日、柔道選手の事前キャンプの見学会が開催されました。
バブル方式により直接の見学はできず、モニターでの見学になりましたが、間近でオリンピック選手を見るとやはりすごい迫力です。風林火山を体現するが如き傑物たちを見て、思わず「何やったらこんな体になるんだろう」と考えてしまいました（柔道だよ！）。
フェンシング選手の事前キャンプの見学会は、上の階から覗くことができるそうです。
東京都中央区の博品館トイパークでは、オリンピック・パラリンピックの公式グッズがずらりと並びます。
写真はユニフォームと浴衣を着たバービーとリカちゃんです。
話題は逸れますが、博品館トイパークはとても楽しいところなのでオススメです。
埼玉県のさいたまスーパーアリーナは、バスケの会場になっています。
最寄りのさいたま新都心駅は、浮世絵と各国旗がコラボしたイラストがずらーっと飾られていて圧巻でした。
今週近くを通ったところ、遠くから選手っぽい方がちらほら見えました。バスケが上手そうに見えました。
正直、私にとって初めての自国開催のオリンピック・パラリンピックがこのような形で、少し複雑な気分です。でも街なかでこういった景色を見るとお祭り心がざわめきますね。

金メダル獲得に感動の思い出があります。言葉をお借りすると風林火山の山野如く日本の開催となりましが、アスリートは、火の如く確かにメンタル的にも強いでね。夏季パラリンピックおいても、参加国21カ国、参加人数378人、日本の健闘ぶり、 
銀メダル5個、 
銅メダル4個の結果です。パラリンピックの開催否かの結論はまだですが、私も障害者の一人として応援しておりますので、皆さんも機会があれば応援宜しくお願いします。
