January 5, 2024. Sometimes, behind the challenging teaching routine, a simple trip can provide unforgettable lessons. One of them was the experience of camping with teachers in Alas Veenuz Trawas, a beautiful and quiet location in the middle of a pine forest. When we all gathered there, I realized that it was not only the view of the valley and the pine trees that made this experience special, but also the togetherness that was formed with every laugh, effort, and funny moment that happened.
The journey to Alas Veenuz Trawas was fun even though it was tiring. Some of us served as drivers, diligently driving vehicles through winding roads. Although the road to the location was a bit challenging, we never lost our enthusiasm. Throughout the journey, there was a lot of laughter, sharing stories, and of course, helping each other.
When we arrived at the location, a very calm atmosphere greeted us. The lush pine forest and the view of the green valley calmed the mind. Every corner felt so peaceful, and we knew that this was an opportunity to truly feel peace together.
When it was time for dinner, we started to divide the tasks. Some teachers were responsible for cooking, while others were busy taking pictures. And of course, there were some who were ready to eat the dishes with their stomachs already rumbling. In the cooking process, funny incidents were unavoidable.
Some of them burned the sausages until they were burnt, making us all laugh out loud. Some of us were confused about the spices to use, and as a result, some of us put in too many spices which made the food taste a little ‘unique’. However, the funniest thing was when some teachers immediately ‘ignored’ the cooking process and were busy eating when the food was starting to cook, as if that was their main task.
However, behind all the little chaos, there were moments of togetherness that made us closer. All the tasks, although sometimes chaotic, still felt fun because we faced them together. Food that might not be perfect was still appreciated with laughter and stories, remembering that togetherness is the most important thing.
This activity, although simple, left a deep impression. I feel that doing activities together in the wild is not just about spending time, but also strengthening the relationship between teachers. In an atmosphere far from the hustle and bustle of school, we can be more relaxed, share happiness, and strengthen bonds that will make us more compact in working in the future.
In the midst of pine forests and calming valley views, I learned that togetherness is the key to creating a harmonious and enthusiastic work environment. Activities like this remind us that even outside the classroom, we can learn a lot about cooperation, mutual respect, and of course, about how to enjoy togetherness in an atmosphere full of laughter.
