To begin with congratulations on your achievement of level 8 as a local guide. Realising that your reviews, photos and other contributions are helping others is enough reward,therefore keep contributing.
When it comes to expecting a reward from Google , keep in mind that the Local guides program is a voluntary program. The reward system is not reliable. I will advise you yo keep contributing voluntarily and expect no reward so that you will not be disappointed. Nevertheless please have a look at
