To eat, have fun and not go broke? Thanks to us - this is possible.

Hello, like-minded!

Why I’m interested in Google Maps and Local guides?

Google Maps is the most comfortable and actual source of information about new places (restaurants, monuments, markets etc) for me abroad and one of the most useful at home. Offline and online.

Maps are making and updating by other similar travelers or locals.

So if I go to some place - why not to leave a short feedback with some photos? Feedback is simply, quickly and useful. Useful for hundreds, thousands and millions people.

Especially I like to make short reviews of cafe and restaurants.

Once we had an unseccessful experience in Vietnam (Nha Trang) - poisoning for 3 days. I sincerely would not want anyone else to repeat our mistake.

Delicious food - rules the world, and you don’t really want to experiment with it))). Fish and meat… Steaks… Awww… Emotions must be positive! And if it’s possible - cheap)))

And really… “eating is like making love”!

Hello @John_omsk ,

I’m happy to welcome another foodie on Connect!

It’s always nice to meet other people that enjoy mapping and reviewing all kind of food related places on Google Maps as much as I do. While we are on this subject, where did you capture these delicious looking dishes? They look absolutely fantastic. Especially the first one with the shrimp on top. Is this particular dish popular in the region where you shot the picture? Sorry for bombarding you with so many questions, but I’m really intrigued by your post and can’t wait to find out more about it.

Hello, @KlaudiyaG!

Thais love shrimps like other seafood - so the first photo is from Thailand, Briza Hotel in Khao-Lak region.

Second photo is from Greece - Karvounis restaurant near Athens. One more photo from this place:
