Hello everyone! My name is Meida from Indonesia. Nice to ‘meet’ y’all! Honestly at first, I didn’t give it much thoughts to review any places that I visited. I used to be too lazy to do it and I thought what was it for? I didn’t even know if anybody would read it at all.
But then, about a year ago my sister-in-law told me that her friend got a chance to visit USA and it was all paid by Google, because she diligently made the reviews for every places she visited in her life. What a tremendous opportunity! I thought. I’ve always wanted to be a world traveller but since I’m not a rich person and I’m still looking for a permanent job even now, so I saw it as a golden chance for me and I decided to give it a try!
I may have written two novels but it’s not the same as writing a review. It can be a real struggles, but I did it all nonetheless. Even if it was just one short sentence and sometimes it resulted in more than five long sentences. It could even reached two paragraphs! Hahaa , and thousand of people read them! Now that’s a WOW! So, I’m really grateful for the opportunity to improve my review - writing skill (it’s a skill too, right?) as well as giving some contributions to help people make some good decisions before they visit some places. And it will be a huge reward to be able to meet up with other local guides from around the world and share some stories about the cool places on earth. Hopefully we can meet up and have fun together in October 2020! Amen
