Thank you for sharing, @shankarbhuvanesh . This looks like a very interesting custom. What does the going in the water symbolize? We have a similar custom in Bulgaria but it’s done during winter and men get in the cold river water and dance to chase bad spirits away.
The Holy bath is to cleanse the holiness of God. People take bath to get blessing from god. The event occurs on the winter here people here belive bathing in cold water brings good health, wealth and prosperity @IrrPavlova
