Tips when you're in Universal Studios, Singapore

Like all tourist in any city, time can be your most valuable commodity and it seems it goes faster when you want more of it.

Case in point, Universal Studios, Singapore. (Or any theme park for that matter)

The thing that eats up most of your time is the loooonng lines you have to go through for their attractions.

Yes, these parks have to make money so they need a certain number of customers per day to make a profit. I GET IT!

But unless you are willing to PAY premium tickets your stuck in line while the clock ticks away.

Here’s a few tips to lessen that dilemma.

  1. If you can help it, go during the weekdays. More people tend to go during the weekends hence longer lines.

  2. Upon entering the park, turn left and do a clockwise tour of the attractions. Most people turn right and do a counter clockwise route so you’ll be with the crowd doing the same thing all at the same time. You’ll be able to ride more at first and then get slower in the middle which, is still better than be slow at the start.

  3. Go for the less attractive rides first, the main attractions will draw more crowd thus longer lines. At least you get to spend the first part of the day actually enjoying yourself.

  4. Go for the main attractions about 1-2 hours before closing time. Most of the crowd has gone so the line should be lighter. This will also able you to get double or even triple rides easily.
