Tips (Tutorial) to find the number of Kudos (Likes) Given or Received on Connect - TravellerG

Here are the tips for searching ‘Kudos’ (Likes) on Connect: Mainly, there are four searches possible:

1. Just the total number of ‘Likes’ you have ‘Given & Received’.
2. From whom all have you received the ‘Likes’?
3. To whom all have you given the Likes?
4. Globally what is your position on the number of Likes you have ‘Received’?

Introduction (for Android Mobile & Windows PC):

The first three statistics are available on your profile page, while the fourth data is a URL given at the end of this post. (How to open your Profile Page: Mobile; PC).

1. Just the total number of ‘Likes’ you have ‘Given & Received’.

2. If you want to know your total number of Kudos given and/or received, then:

3. Open your ‘Profile Page’ and scroll down till the end of the page; just above the “Likes from” menu, there is “Public Statistics”. The last two lines of data are the “Total Likes Received” and then the “Total Likes Given”. (sample image: Mobile, PC)

The data two and three are available on another page which leads from your profile page (sample image: Mobile, PC).

Immediately below the ‘Public Statistics’, on the right side, there is a ‘>’ symbol; click on the same and wait for a few seconds. You will get into “Likes Activity for ‘TravellerG’” (your username). There are four menus (each with three sub-menus) available and all are informative - you may select each and study them.

2. From whom all you have RECEIVED ‘Likes’?

Select “LIKES RECEIVED: FROM USERS” & Sort by “Likes” sub-menu (Tip: click only once & wait for a few seconds)

You will get a status: From whom all you have received the likes - the first Username is the LG from whom you have received the highest number of Likes.

3. To whom all you have GIVEN Likes?

Select “LIKES GIVEN: TO USERS” & Sort by “Likes” sub-menu (Tip: click only once & wait for a few seconds)

You will get a status: To whom all you have given the likes - the first Username is the LG to whom you have given the highest number of Likes.

4. Globally what is your position on the number of Kudos you have ‘Received’?

Sometimes, the following link may take minutes to display or try to paste the URL again after a few minutes; I always got it after some waiting - the URL is correct and is active - but unstable. (I have used Google Chrome, both on Mobile and PC).

Nice post, @TravellerG , to know more about the amount of likes we give (and receive), with an hidden message: Looking at the numbers it is probably the moment to add some more badge for given and received Likes.

I would like only to add a small note: In Connect we only see what we can see. It means that if an area of Connect it is restricted to a limited amount of people (like it was for the Street View Trusted Photographers board) and you don’t have access to that area, you will not see the Likes related to that area.In the past we had several conversation about this subject, mostly related to the fact that some user was receiving a badge related to Likes even if apparently the LG had a Lower number of likes.

In fact my view of the leader board differs a little bit from yours, as you can see here below

This has come as a huge surprise to me @ErmesT

My view is different from yours and also that of @TravellerG .

IMO, the number of likes should be a fixed number visible from a dashboard like this, irrespective of which board the likes were obtained from, and whether the board is accessible to others or not.

Well, Connect is actually based on a commercial structure created for forums, @TusharSuradkar , and they all work in such way. This is for a good reason, IMHO: everything you see should be cross referenced, so if you see that I have, let say, 10 likes, you should be able to find all of them. Let image for a minute that a Local Guide has 10 likes, all of them on the - now closed) SVTP board. Many will not be able to see them, and someone will most probably start to complaint about that.

Thanks for another great tutorial @TravellerG . I appreciate the links to both the mobile and the PC view that are to be expected. I only recently found the “secret” Likes Leaderboard for Connect. I think it’s a pretty awesome feature that should be more prevalent (it will now be because of your post, I bet).

I only wish that our personal statistics were able to be sorted. I’d like to know which posts or comments had the most impact, rather than the default chronological view.

Grazie @TravellerG è davvero molto interessante. Per i punti 1 - 2 - 3 ero già a conoscenza di come vedere queste classifiche, sono curiosa di esplorare le novità quindi avevo trovato queste informazioni. Ma assolutamente non conoscevo il punto 4, quindi ho cliccato sul link e ho potuto accedere alla lunga lista. Si è molto lenta a caricare ma funziona. Non ho potuto fare a meno di notare che oltre alla lista dei Kudos per autori c’è anche la lista dei Kudos per i migliori post, ho visto giusto? Forse anche questo è molto interessante per molti utenti qui.

E ho visto con molto piacere che la nostra amica @renata1 è in ottima posizione e forse è interessata a queste informazioni.

Adesso ho qui una richiesta di tutorial per te perché spesso ho letto che per alcuni è un mistero, ma io non ci ho mai provato, né dal cellulare né dal computer quindi quindi non ho la risposta ma potresti spiegarlo tu “come aggiungere link o elementi in movimento o semplicemente una frase come firma al profilo”.

Personalmente penso che molti abbiano delle liste troppo lunghe di link che occupano molto spazio e altri troppe immagini in movimento che disturbano la vista, ma visto che Connect lo permette… potresti spiegarlo in modo semplice come sai fare tu Grazie per tutto il tempo che dedichi agli altri

Da, draga Patricija vidjela sam te tablice i naravno jako sam, jako sretna i ponosna na sebe.

Dolazim iz male državice Hrvatske, za koju možda neki LG-i nisu nikada niti čuli.

Trenutno sam jedini aktivni LG iz Hrvatske ovdje na Connectu. Zbog toga sam i ponosna i tužna. Ne znam zašto nema više ljudi ovdje, mojih sunarodnjaka??!!

Vidjela sam da sam među 100 najboljih lokalnih vodiča koji su dobili najviše , pohvala.

Nalazim se na 95 mjestu sa 10137 pohvala. I jedini sam LG na razini 7.

Svi ostali su razina 8, 9, 10 ili Connect moderatori.

Sjajan uspjeh za mene

Uspjeh do neba.

Također se nalazim među 12 najboljih LG-a, kojima je gospodin @TravellerG dao najviše pohvala (616).

Tu sam na 11 mjestu i opet jedina na razini 7.

Sjajno, ovo mi je velika čast

Čast mi je biti prijateljica iskrenoj osobi kao što si ti draga Patricija.
