This is a throwback to my travel photography in Paris, France back in 2008. I was attending a conference in Limoges, located in southwest-central France, and only had limited time to explore. However, I managed to capture some captivating street photography during my brief visit.
Although I only had two hours in Paris, I was fortunate enough to meet up with my uncle whom I hadn’t seen in ages. He took me on a whirlwind tour of the city, visiting famous landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Basilica of Sacré-Coeur on the hill of Montmartre.
The photos I captured were taken on my first DSLR camera, the Sony A-100, and have been converted to black and white to give them a timeless feel. Looking back at these photos reminds me of the beauty and charm of Paris, and how lucky I was to experience it even for a short time.
