Sir, can you tell me, how much time, it will take to approve an edit on google Map. Recently I have added the phone number of a Hostel in google map. But the edit is showing as ‘pending’ for more than 3 days.

Most edits that get approved are approved immediately. Once in the “pending” queue, there is very low chance of getting approved later, in my experience.

If the place has been claimed by the owners, you could contact them are suggest they fix their phone number on Maps.
Another solution could be to seek help in the Maps support forum. For that you will need to attach some good documentation proving what the correct phone number is.
