Tilismati Beach - The Hidden Gem Of Balochistan Pakistan 🇵🇰

Hello, Local Guides,

Some weeks ago, I posted a Travel Post Challenge on Connect, So Today I want to share about the Gem Of Pakistan in the #Gemsoftheworld #ConnectTravelChallenge

The basic idea was to show the beautiful and extraordinary places of our countries which always make us proud to have them.

Fishermen Floating Jetty/ Tilismati Beach Balochistan Pakistan :

In 2021 on my birthday, we had a wonderful Beach Cleaning Meet-up as a part of @ermest 's Local Guides Clean The World project.

at a newly found beach for us, namely “Fishermen Floating Jetty Beach” or “Tilsimati Beach” situated in the most amazing province of Pakistan called Balochistan.

A couple of weeks before, Local Guides from Karachi visited the same place to explore more places near Fishermen Floating Jetty Beach.

But before starting our wonderful travel story, let me share some information about the Coastal Belt of Pakistan.

The total Coastline of Pakistan is about 1120 Km. The western region (Makran coast) lengthens from the Hub river to the Iranian border. Makran coast is about 772 Km long. The South Eastern Region (Sindh coast) extends from Hub River to Sir Creek on the Indian border and is about 348 Km long.

(Facts and figures from the internet )

The Fishermen Floating Jetty Beach is located near Allana Village District Hub Balochistan, and it’s approx 50 Kilometers from District Central of Karachi.

We started our journey from Hussainabad food street and through Liyari Expressway we reached near Hub River Road, and then non-stop to Fishermen floating Jetty Beach.

This time the first thing we noted was that it was the calmest beach we ever visited in Pakistan, and there was not too much pollution as we can see other busy tourist attractions, mostly beaches in Pakistan.

The Fishermen floating jetty on Beach was built and inaugurated two years ago to facilitate fishermen, who felt difficulties to pick and drop their stuff such as fish from the sea, gasoline for the boats, and other things in the past.

The best thing about this beach is the clean water and millions of shells at the beach. Also one of the special things about this place is that there are beautiful stones & rocks on the beach which makes the water more clear which comes by the waves.

If you are visiting Fishermen Floating Jetty Beach, you can hire a boat at a very nominal fare, approx 1000 Pakistani Rupees (6$ USD) for an hour or more to visit the sea or fishing near Shore.

But this beach still has no facilities for public washrooms or Huts/Resorts there because usually this beach is used by fishermen and as I mentioned above it’s not very popular in the general public, or we can say it’s still safe from pollution because it’s still hidden from the eyes of the careless tourists and people.

Unfortunately, this beach is not :x: :wheelchair: Accessible for wheelchairs and people with different abilities, more you can read in my Google Maps review about Fishermen Floating Jetty Beach.

But there are no Parking fees or entry fees, you have to pay toll tax once when you cross the border from Sindh to Balochistan.

This beach is still safe from too many visitors and tourists, but of course, the tour here is everyone’s right, But we should consider it our own. That this is our sea, this is our own marine life, this is our beach. If we consider this beach as our own and keep it clean, it also protects oceanic life and the seawater will look clean. And we will always have a pleasant feeling whenever we visit here.

Let’s protect our oceans and beaches from plastic pollution.

Thanks to @Bilal_shaikh, @SwalayMuhammad @Ali_Ahmad_Jaan @GulabParmar, and Marvi Kalhoro for joining us to explore the awesome fishermen’s floating Jetty Beach, Here are some more beautiful memories of the trip in this Google Photos Album.

As Promised I m mentioning my friends @JaneBurunina @SoniaK @Tushar_Suradkar @NareshDarji @StephenAbraham, @TravellerG, and @Nyainurjanah in the first post from my side for the challenge Gems of the World - A Connect Travel Post Challenge.

This place is indeed an hidden gem, I simply love it. Beautiful place and beautiful photos.

Oh, do you know that some of your stones would be perfect in my collection? Le pietre parlanti - The Living Stones - along the Piave river was probably one of my first post in Connect

“How did you know that I love beaches and stones?”

Maybe because I m following you from my 1st day on Connect, and this is our mutual hobby to love nature especially clean beaches.

Your first post on Connect is simply amazing @ErmesT ,

It means you are doing something very extraordinary from your beginning on Connect

I love beaches and mountains both, especially the beaches with clear water, where I can see my feet easily, but in Karachi it’s so rare. That’s why I love to visit different beaches of our neighborhood Province Balochistan repeatedly.

Thanks for your appreciation

Thank you so much @Anil6969 for your great words and a nice suggestion. Actually, all the photos were taken at the same place “Fishermen floating jetty beach Or Tilsimati Beach” these both are the names of the same beach.

I will surely forward your greetings to all my friends, and I hope your great wishes will encourage them to do much better for the country and community.

Shukriya

There is a word in Bangla, telesmati (which is probably originated from either Urdu or Arabic word, tilismat) meaning stunning or magical or spectacular. Whatever the meaning of the word is, this post reminded me of that word which perfectly goes with the name of the beach, Tilismati Beach. Amazing place it is, @KashifMisidia . I would love to have some of those wonderful stones. So next time you meet me, you know what to bring for me from Pakistan. I loved all the pictures and the video. Especially the very first photo of the beach with pebbles and collage of the stone pictures hooked me to the post. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful place. It truly is a gem, indeed. Abbu was so right about Balochistan. I hope one day I will have the chance to visit this wonderful place.
