Tianguis Lagunilla, Mexico

The “flea market” is also known as “tianguis” (open market).This word has its origins from Nahuatl language. It is called “baratillo” and it other countries “tenderete” as well. Many people attend ( around 4 to 6 thousand) to practice the beautiful art of “chacharear” (a kind of window shopping). Negotiating. marchandises of lover price (acording to the dictionary). After walking around we can find typical mexican food such as tacos, and some others like pizza, baguettes and crepes. It is part of the city’s traditions, legacy of custumes and habits. And no matter you social status, many people go there, may be for necessity or some other reasons.
