Three things that I love sharing on Google Maps:
Menus: In Asia, there really isn’t a one-stop shop to get the menus of a place unless somebody puts it on Google Maps.I like sharing the menus to help other folks make the decision whether to go, or not! Some people will just go because of the reputation of a place, but for those who are trying out something new, it is nice to be able to peek at the menu before heading over (especially tourists). This is a page from one of the best hidden gems in Singapore!
I just found out about posting Videos. What a great opportunity to show off a place! I just uploaded three videos (Bohemian Rhapsody, November Rain, Shallow [A Star is Born]) to the Hard Rock Melaka Malaysia which had an house band that rocked all three nights I went! I was a bit saddened to find out that we’re only limited to 30 seconds. Though, I guess the longer format stuff can go on YouTube.
The hidden & the quirky. Probably my most favorite - a lot of people wouldn’t think that taking a picture of some small hole in the wall would make a difference, but it actually might be the most-up-to-date image available and might help those who are navigating their way there! Here is an image of a therapy center in Singapore that I randomly took in Singapore on my way home - has over 11,000 views!
