Thank you for sharing this incredible photo. I guess that the name of the Three Sisters was given to the rocks due to the resemblance to a real three sisters. In many other countries there are rocks and little mountains that have names, because they look like something, for example in Bulgaria there is a place called The Wedding, because the rocks look like several people on a wedding.
Furthermore, such places have usually a legend behind them, is there any myth behind the one of the Three Sisters?

I think all over the world are a lot of mountain formations called 3 sisters, or 3 brothers …
