Threat of lawsuit over a negative review! Could this undermine the integrity of Google reviews?

A local news story caught my attention when it covered a woman [Redacted] who was threatened with a legal action over her online review via google/yelp. I find this very distressing as it seems to me this could really compromise the integrity of the entire review process once people are afraid to leave a negative review. I’m also curious if her negative review isn’t covered under her 1st Amendment rights? All this just baffles me!! And I’d love to hear from the community, do you guys share my opinion or am I over reacting here? Have you guys ever heard of something like this? I left a review for that business telling them what I think, the link for my review is posted below.

Thanks!

Here is the article in its entirety:

Dear all,

I usually rate the places I visit, it is part of my routine and now I got in a law suit threat situation:

I usually choose a service provider due to the ratings. After paying for the services he made reschedules in short notice and made it very difficult to receive it. As there were kids involved, and I did not hear about his offer to reschedule it in 1 day, I gave him a chance to reschedule the service, and because I mentioned that in this way he could prevent a bad review, he overreacted and threatened to publish my email. I did not rate his business since them because I fear for the safety of my online data as email adress and bullying from his part as a comment to my review. The customer communication with me is the lowest level as possible since them.

Did I do something wrong?

Is there any support that LGs can receive if a Business tries to silence them or bully then in the answers?

Thank you very much!
