Deleting post in Connect is not normally possible @user_not_found , and in addition when you left Connect all the posts were disconnected from the account, that’s why they appear listed under an Anonymous name.
Deleting the posts means also deleting replies, likes, etc. of other members of the community, and they may not be happy to see that the replies have been removed because you decided to leave the community.
In any case I will tag @Giu_DiB for a better feedback
In addition I would like ti suggest you to be careful about creating and claiming in GMB places that do not have the characteristic to be in Google Maps.
Just to give you an example: Do you physically own this place? or this one?
Using Google maps to create your “photographic Project” is not the best way to contribute.

Hi @ErmesT thank you for the feedback. Removing the old posts is not a big deal. Just thought I’d see if it were possible.
As for the creating of places I don’t physically own them or claim them. They are historical places which people can visit. There is no dedicated website relevant so I linked them to a page where I was working on the history of each site. I have since removed those links.
I don’t understand how they don’t have the characteristics to be added to maps.

This is Tigroney West Mine , a beautiful historical area, and the Williams Engine House , that is part of the mines. Their website is interesting, to know more about the Irish mines. With a quick search I was able to find them in Maps even if I live more or less 1000 miles far away. They also have an interesting website.
Adding extra places, that are addressing to your interesting website will not help the people to improve the quality of the visit. On the contrary, will qualify you as the owner of a right that you don’t have. I know your intention is good, but the result is inappropriate. Why not to create a custom Map where to add your photos, if you really wants to help?

@ErmesT I find two of those links you provided very interesting. I cannot see that Williams Engine House link normally on Maps but when I click that link it shows me. I would not have created the place initially. I can see what you mean now by adding extra places. I assure you that was not intentional.

I will try to do some fix. If you see something weird appearing in your contributions, that’s normal during a merge.
After that, it would be possible to remove the photos that will appear related to an unknown place but please wait at least 24 hours before to upload them again on the right location.
A merge can take days …
No problem at all. I am going to clean up my map contributions, and remove anything I find not relevent. Thanks for the feedback.

Unfortunately it is very difficult for the author of an edit to remove it, because it is like to deny what you did before.
We have a lot of reports here about Local Guides that are trying to fix a mistake, and Maps normally do not accept the edits
