This is why I love to travel around the world and eat my way through local restaurants

Since I was born I have been on the move.

Born in Iran, we moved to Turkey when I was around 9 years old.

From Turkey to Sweden.

Sweden to the USA.

etc…

The experience that a trip provides gives a person a broad perspective in many aspects.
You get to know the local culture, the local smell and sounds. You get to experience the why and how in each city and location. But most of all, something that all cultures and people have in common; we have to EAT!

I had some issues with food (just like any kid) when I was young.

When I moved out from my parents to study in another city I HAD TO start cooking.

Thats when I discovered the beauty of food, colors, smell, flavors and the visual aspect of it.

Back in those days there were not smartphones and photographing with regular “Old school” camera took a while to develop the images and see the result.

**SO fast forward to 2018!

**After multiple trips, now equipped with a smartphone, I was amazed on how good of pictures I can take of places, but specially the food.

Nowadays, when I am on a trip I always make sure to have my smartphone with me, and take great pictures that I would like to share. Since I got to be a member of Local Guides I have had the opportunity to share my pictures with other people around the world.
One thing I would like to start with is (perhaps Google will pick up on the idea) Global Guides, since I am not the only person who loves local guides, and use Google maps, and we could have a bigger society that delivers great insight in G Maps, but also the reviews, correcting data, and other things we do in Google maps as a local guide.

Since to fix a global Google maps, we need manpower, hence the local guides.

Finally I would like to share one of my first pics as local guide that has also my highest record on over 167 000 views!
Its from a cosy restaurant in central Gothenburg, Sweden.

Over n Out!
