The primary reason why I love to share information on Google Maps is to help people to get to know about different places in the world. With this opportunity many are be able to find their destination without any difficulty.
I live in Galle, Sri Lanka. This city, for the past few years have become a Tourist haven where many people are coming from all around the world to visit beautiful places including the Galle Dutch Fort, stunning Dutch Colonial architecture and beaches. With all these places to visit, Google Map becomes a handy tool for everyone. Why? Because they get to find reviews which will help them to decide on, where to go or what road to take without a hassle. So, my main focus is to update any existing information which are outdated or misrepresented. Another thing is, with increase in Tourist as well as Local attraction, many businesses are opening up, and as a dutiful Local guide, whenever I come across a place which is not existing on Maps, I mark it and upload photos, videos and add reviews so that it will be benefited to all who explore as well as for the business.
In my point of view, with the help of this platform many of us can help guide people even in the smallest possible way, which I absolutely love!
