I am new here and I am trying to find my way around this forum. It seems not so intuitive to me, so below are a couple of q’s:

I had created my first post yesterday and it was successfully put up online. I tested the link and it was working. Today, I tried to look for it, and to my surprise, it’s not that easy. First I went to my profile, should be the easiest place right? Well, I can see my “first post” badge. Great. But under my Posts, I can’t find it. Turns out I would have to go to My Subscriptions to find it. What if I did not subscribe to my post? EDIT: while writing this, the post can now be seen under my Posts, so maybe just a slight temporary glitch.

How do I ask for help or find the FAQ? When I post, the only topics i can choose are photography, travel, food/drink, local stories, meetups, and how-to’s. I want to find help. The header bar on the help desk page says:

Browse frequently asked questions (FAQs) from the community and find solutions
…But I can’t find FAQs. Also, is it possible to search inside the topic page? What I mean is, if you’re already in the Travel page, for example, there should be a search bar that searches Travel posts only. I think this is quite a common forum design. Currently the only search bar is the top one, then we’d need to go to advanced search to filter topics. A bit awkward, IMO. Also, Help Desk topic is not an option when posting, so how should one ask for help? Help Desk topic should be select-able and should contain posts on how to navigate this forum.
